Project VITAL (Vocational Innovation and Training for Animal Livestock), an EU-funded Partnership for Innovation, implementing the Blueprint for Sectoral Cooperation on Skills, was officially launched through the Kick-off Meeting at the University of Napoli – Federico II, in Italy, between 27 -28 January. VITAL, which will run for four years, brings together 25 partners from 9 countries to develop and implement a sector-wide skills strategy for European livestock farming, define new occupational profiles at EQF levels 5 and 7 catering to emerging job roles in the livestock industry. The Larnaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, participates in all project activities and supports the coordination of the national ecosystem in Cyprus. Stay tuned for updates.
